Admissions Information

Who May Enroll?

WSU classes are generally open to all students who have been admitted to Wayne State University. Some departments allow enrollment in their classes only to students who have been admitted specifically to programs offered at the Wayne County Center. A student who has completed at least 12 transferable semester credits with a GPA of 2.0 at an accredited community college or four year institution may apply for admission to WSU as a transfer student. Admission to specific programs generally requires completion of approximately two years of prior college work.

Steps In The Process:

Students who are interested in enrolling in one of our WSU programs are advised to do the following:  
  1. Visit or call the WSU office at receive general advice about our programs.
  2. Submit an application for admission to Wayne State University. The links on the top right will provide specific instructions on how to apply.
